The only one complaint I have about my '10 G37x

So I never really noticed it until after about a couple months of owning my car, but the stock 17" wheels on the 2010 sedan model just look plain terribad. Everytime I look at it, I'm in disgust because they look ugly to me. But then again I'm also a full time student so $0 to do anything about it haha. Any others feel the same?

17in makes the ride more comfortable. Get the 19in coupe rims if ur not satisfied. btw 19in rim = harder ride and back breaker. Personally i think the 17in stock rims look better, if u look at it in an angle. oh yea u mean 17in not 10 in right? lolol!

17" wheels ARE horrible. You have a lot of options even for a broke college kid (I'm with you on that!)
Check craigslist, and the private sales here for a reasonable set of wheels! I'm sure you'll find something
Good luck

Like I don't mind they're only 17" but just the rims look horrendous to me. I tried to somehow like them but I just can't. As much as I want to save up for new wheels, I was looking into getting something like an intake or lowering springs first. I wish the G came a bit lower like a 3 series from the factory too

I'm a college student as well and can't afford mods and stuff so quick. What I learned was that if you learn to like something you have, you will end up liking it. You just gotta stop saying it's terrible and keep wondering to yourself: If everyone else likes them, they must be good. Not that it's true or anything, it'll ease up your mind.
I didn't like how a g35 looked at first but then I figured I wouldn't be able to afford a g37 so I made myself like the g35 and now I kind of want to test it out even though I have a g37 now. It did take me a month or 2 to like the g35 but it did happen eventually.

TL;DR change your perception of the rims, I'm sure you'll come to like them. If anything, get them painted or powder coated black.

Me too.

I like the way they look overall, and I like them better than the 18" stock wheels on the '10 G37x sedan. (I only wish they were 19" instead of 17" LOL!)
