The wheels were a coincidence lol, but I definitely copied his grill. Rochester's style and approach is very similar to mine, so I've leaned on his advice a couple of times.
It's been four years now, and even though the car is garaged, the Moonlight White on the grille is now noticeably more "white" and less pearl-white than the rest of the car. For that matter, so are the bumpers, although the difference is less so than the grille.
This is my second three-stage, pearl white car. And although my first one was only owned for 3.5 years after being bought new, at the end I was starting to notice the mismatch contrast on that car too.
Here's a front shot from last year after I installed 5000k headlight and fog light bulbs and VLED switchbacks.
furlow - guessing you got the grill border painted after purchasing...about how much was that? I'm thinking about possibly painting my window trim the same as my car color

Yes but I did not order the black OEM grill, if that's what you mean. I used my chrome grill and they painted that. I can't remember exactly how much my paint shop charged me, but it was probably around $200 - $250. Not the cheapest, but this paint shop is a client of mine and they do really good work and I trust them.
Why not vinyl wrap the window trim to black or whatever color you want? Seems like it would be really expensive, and permanent, to paint it.

just trying to see what my other options would be - vinyl is at the top of the list but painting it cold be an option based on the price tag.
