This forum has such great people with great ideas and I think that gives everyone here so much inspiration when in comes to modifying their cars. It just boggles my mind how much more supportive the people are on this forum compared to the other automotive forums I am on (Porsche and Jeep).
Thanks for the nice words, guys. Much appreciated! I think my taillights are next, DFS!
Please get them professionally painted. Don't nightshade them. I feel like I'm wasting breath seeing your mods and the quality of parts is already a no brainer for you. But can't wait to see final product. I say paint them and go custom LEDS.
On another note.....quick sneak peak of what's to come here for Scarlet in the short coming weeks. Stay tuned

Wow! Those things are crazy. Can't see how this project turns out.
I definitely won't be using nightshade on them. I had originally just plan to have them professionally painted, as you said, but have decided to modify them myself with the HD Halo's from Diode Dynamics... Since I'll have them cut apart I'll paint the internal reflectors myself instead of the actual lenses. Similar to what djdiskino did with his. https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...ml#post4095810
Are you installing the air bags by yourself ? I went to check out a price to get mine done and they wanted around $5,300 -$5,500 installed for the 3H full system installed.

Yeah, it's really not that hard and I enjoy doing these projects myself. Plus I've had the suspension on & off my G more times than I can count so it's become pretty easy for me. I do have to say that Air Lift's kit provides excellent instructions and is almost plug and play. I'm almost done with the rear suspension. You really only have to drill two holes per side and add two nutserts. The front appears a direct bolt-on.
2gOrnot2G, you should do a DIY on the air setup. I am going to help a buddy install his airlift kit in the near future. And, air is in my future as well.
Thanks! It's a big project, and since I had to wait for the parts to get powder coated it's taking a few weeks to complete. But in the end it should all be worth it.

I'll try to put something together once I'm finished. Although, I still need to put together a build thread and have been putting that off for years.

Thanks, Brad. The coolest thing about the grill is how much it weighs (around 3 oz.)! And you'd be surprised about the cost of some of the other stuff... Living in SoCal can be a great place when it comes to having access to tons of automotive vendors and specialty shops. I had all of the those aluminum parts polished for $100 cash and all of the other parts (27 pieces total) stripped and powder coated candy red + clear coat for less then $300! I also received a partial sponsorship price for the AirLift kit so that helped too.
