Took a quick pic after my weekend DIY of painting the front grille

 

My 2012 G37x Sedan sitting on some 19" black chrome vert wheels. Stock height March/April.

 

Is that paint on the roof, or vinyl? It looks glossy. And it looks pretty good in this pic. Got another thread with more pictures showcasing this mod, or more pics you'd like to post here?

 

That would be 3m gloss black vinyl on the roof. I messed up on a couple spots, but overall looks ok. I don't have specific pics that are focused on the roof, but perhaps the pic below shows off a better angle.

How do you get around the antenna nub? Did you drop the headliner and unbolt or just work around it?

 

Knowing my skills, i felt like i was going to mess up working around the antenna so i dropped the headliner and unbolted it haha.

 

That really is interesting. Fully wrapped window trim too, I see. Is that the Extreme3 low-profile roof wing from HBIN? Funny, but I can't figure out if that added trim breaks the lines or augments them.

Not really digging the trunk lip in gloss black; that's an odd choice, IMO. Like a chocolate dipped cookie. But overall there's more here that I like than I don't. Some years ago I had a friend who vinyl wrapped his roof in gloss black, and it looked damn good. It's one of those things I keep coming back to as a possibility.

Not trying to anything to the fact that you totaled your car, but don't put wheels on your next car with that much poke. It just does not look good.
