Keep an eye out for brake setups. You can get them for fairly cheap and they're bolt on. I saw a set of akebono calipers, pads, and rotors that someone was trying to sell on here for like 1200 bucks. They were the infiniti akebonos too. The Nissan 370Z also has them and you can get them from there too. Good luck. But the care looks really good

Actually you can get them for a bit less that that brand new BBK on the cheap
Exactly. I've got that thread bookmarked in case I have more money than sense in the near future. It is irritating to see used Akebono calipers for 1000 bucks or more with half the pieces missing in the classifieds. It is more annoying to see them purchased at that price over and over again.
Brad, do the community a favor and sticky that thread in every sub-forum.
Maybe this was the thread j was talking about because I do remember reading this lol. Do you guys use the stock/base slave cylinder with the akebonos?
You do use the stock Master Cylinder. The only part on your current car that needs to be modified are the dust shields, there's a DIY in the link that I put in that BBK thread. And if you re use your rubber brake lines you'll need two shorter banjo bolts.
