Let me guess Tony, that automatic e63 (while fast) put you to sleep with that automatic tranny.

^ It was a great car, but we are building a new home and we figured we didn't need the extra car payment. With the proceeds of the sale I paid off the remaining of my loan and got a 2006 M35 cash!

Sorry that was poorly worded. I meant I would get another set of CV5's. Putting the Forged Rays on a G sedan would be pretty aggressive indeed, although might look pretty good lol.

I had an X Coupe before my sedan and haven't gotten around to changing it. Might as well do it now lol.

In my book, that's perfect, real-world fitment for the Sedan. Flush 19" rims, and a practical 1" gap give-or-take.

First post in the forum, and here you are with a nicely situated 6MT.

Welcome aboard.

Thanks! Rochester, yes this is my first post. I've always just been looking at other peoples G's. I thought I should start contributing

Hey guys, figured I should stop lurking and finally post lol. I used to be on G35Driver a while back before I sold my '03 coupe and picked this up. It's an '09 6MT, and thanks to all the info on the forums, I was able to do the 2010+ front end swap without too much trouble. The awful wheels will be changed out soon too hopefully lol

This looks excellent.

I swear I've flip-flopped about 20 times on the OEM sport lip ... sometimes it looks a bit too much for my taste, but in this case, it looks perfect.

Key factor seems to be suspension; with a pretty aggressive drop, the lip is in harmony, but at OEM height, it looks out of place. IMO.

Any more pics to share? Also, are there spacers on those wheels?

I completely relate to this. Most of the time, I end up not wanting this lip, but in this picture I noticed for the first time how the bottom line of the lower grille follows right into the separation upper line of the chin. That really works.

Ditto what the others have said~you really nailed it here, great choices w/ all your mods. Was there an exact name for that bronze color, I know there's a lot of different powdercoat shades available. Bronze on black is

Looking good, what are you dropped on?
BTW, there's a lot worse looking wheels than those.

Thanks, I'm on G35 coupe Eibach Prokit springs. I had to do the spring perch mod in the rear to get rid of the droop.

I like the look of the wheels too, but I've heard mixed reviews about XXRs. I couldn't stand how sunken in the OEM wheels were after the drop so I picked these up cheap until I can get BBSes

Yes with out the car being drop the lip looks funny and out of place. Before I dropped no one even noticed I had a lip, after the drop everyone is like "did you get a new lip?" lol
