I will be putting my stock S wheels, wrapped in X-Ice tires, back on for the winter very soon. I very much dislike the look.
I like having winter traction though.

Ditto. Any time now in the next week or two. Stock, staggered S wheels, wrapped in Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60.

Nice. Gotta say though, going back down to 18's and the lightness of them made her feel like a track car afterwards. That's about the only benefit of downsizing for the winter.

Sounds like you're using the OEM Sport 18"s as winter rims, but noticeably heavier tires in the summer. Is that right?

Those OEM Enkie's are only 24 and 25 pounds each; (F/R on the staggered set). How heavy are your summer rims?

You guessed it bud. The S OEM's. You're always ontop of things!

No idea on how heavy my 20" Giovanna's are. But it's noticeable!

Hmm. Sometimes things are only obvious in hindsight. Looking back, at your posts, that's the case. Doh.

It struck me as odd that you're in a situation where the OEM 18" Sports are considered lightweight enough to be noticeable compared to your summer wheels. See, I keep going back and forth (in my head) between aftermarket wheels that are lighter than the OEM rims, or 1-2 pounds heavier. Performance vs. Appearance is a heck of a struggle, and every time I read a post like yours here, it swings the pendulum towards performance.

(sigh)
