I have a 2009 G37 Journey Sedan. I was involved in a slight front end collision yesterday and I am planning to swap my Journey front bumper to a Sport front bumper. I have searched the threads and I can't seem to find an answer to my question. This question is for those of you who have swapped your 2007-2009 Journey front bumper to a 2007-2009 Sport front bumper. Does the 2007-2009 Sport front bumper cover come with lower grills or do I have to order the grills separately. It is obvious that the upper grill with the Infiniti Emblem does not come with the bumper cover, but does the lower grill and left and right faux vents come installed on the Sport front bumper from factory. I have also tried using discountinfinitiparts.com to answer my question, but it does not list the lower grill as a separate part. Please help me out as I need to order parts and I want to make sure I get everything I need. It is my understanding that everything bolts up using the parts I have on my Journey sedan and so I would like to take advantage of upgrading to a Sport bumper. The collision did not break any headlights or damage the Radiator support, so converting to a 2010-12 Sport front end is a no go as Insurance will not pay for it. I have an appointment for this coming Friday for an adjuster to take a look at the car. Thanks in advance!

 

no the bumpers don't come with any of the lower grills.

your insurance will pay for the parts you will need to replace, so all you will need to do is add any other money to do the 2012 swap.
so look up the parts for each bumper and or any other parts you will see how much you will need to come up with! 2012 if your doing the fogs you will need the 2012 washer tank the 07-09 doesn't fit correct.

I don't want to spend a lot on 2012 swap and so that is why I am going to just upgrade to a 2007-2009 Sport bumper. I noticed that the 2010-12 Sport bumper has a separate grill and faux vents. This is clearly shown on discountinfinitiparts.com item list. However, the 2007-2009 Sport bumper without the Tech package does not show this. So that is why I am confused. Can anyone else confirm this? Thanks!
