I've been trolling and looking the whole time I've been in Afghanistan. Infiniti would make it so easy for me if there was an IPL Sedan. :/
I still have yet to see the G I am looking for on cars.com - is a 2010-11 Sedan, Graphite Shadow, 6MT, Aero, + all goodies that hard to come acrossed?

Wow didn't realize they were that slim.. I'm hopin when I get home I can just tell the Infiniti Dealer what I am looking for, and I am paying cash. Have them go find it for me.. :/

 

just find yourself a 6MT graphite sedan and add the aero kit after, a bit more $$ but you get what you want

I would consider that tbh, just havn't seen a Graphite 6MT around. All of them say they are Manual on cars.com but they aren't, they see the paddleshifters or the tiptronic or somthing and claim it to be manual.. really aggravating.

 

haha, yeah those are prob on non infiniti dealerships lol. I have a new one in that color hahaha

 

FYI - nowadays paying cash does not give you any leverage. Actually dealers would rather you finance through Infiniti than pay cash.

just buy a new one and order it how you want it. if you can wait 3 months.

 

was looking on the infiniti website just goofin around building my g, and noticed the aero kit wasnt an option for the 6mt sedan, but was for the coupe? may be a dumb question for the gurus.. whats up wit that?

 

that number will probably shrink every year as more and more consumers prefer automatic cars, damn shame if you ask me. I miss my 6mt so badly..

 

A better manual tranny might help the cause, but mosty people don't buy Infiniti cars to hot rod them. I personally disliked the G's 6mt and hated the Z's 6mt. Personal opinion of course.

 

just get the chin & rear spoiler yourself. It's offered as an OEM so you 'could' order it that way but the dealer would install it anyway.

I had to order my graphite shadow 6mt. it was at the end of the calender year and there were very few 2010 6mt in the entire country. The dealer ordered to order a 2011 (the only change being that the NAV and the music box became standard) in September with an ETA of about 3 months. He checked his incoming inventory a month later and found my car was on his pre-existing list so I was able to get mine in about a month.

 

by everything, do you mean 4was as well? i was under the impression that 6mt sedans were slim in actual production number, but not 500 per year slim! it took me 3 weeks to negotiate an acceptable price for my 6mt sedan. we tagged it as it was coming into port a month and half in advance - we got lucky. good luck with your search! the majority of the ones in washington come with the aero package + other goodies (minus 4was and afs)

also, i would highly recommend that you NOT ask your dealership to find one. cars that go in between dealerships simply slip between the lines. there's an issue with people who potentially have to drive the new cars between states, ship, etc.. the best advise i can give you, is to be PATIENT and to NOT SETTLE! get exactly what you want sir! GL!

 

i have been asking for the IPL sedan! i think the IPL convertible is next in line
