anyone drive their g with VDC off?

I have a '11 6mt. I want to know if anyone here drives their cars regularly with the VDC off. If so, what differences or enhancements do you see? Thanks.

I've got an '11 with the 7at and turn it off when I want to let loose. I dont think too many people drive with it off "regularly".

vdc allows you to have a little fun without pushing the car to far and ending up in a ditch.
i also dont think people regularly drive with vdc off.. the only time i turn it off is if im going to be stomping on it from a stop and dont want the car to cut power.

Only on when it rains.
I hate losing power on turns, even when Im nowhere near losing traction.

vdc @ slow speeds - can get you in a sticky situation when your expecting/needing power. it can also throw you off on turns, you turn with decent power expecting neutral/ a tad oversteer, instead power cuts and suddenly ur pushing like a bulldozer.

vdc @ high speeds - can save you bunz when your pushing it on some back roads or a nice on/off ramp.

i drive with it off, unless im driving all highway. maybe im just used to rwd with out it.

^Lol, I only take it off when Im pushing it...allows the rear end to step out and have some fun! There's a reason it's default setting is for it to be on.

It is instinct for me to turn it off as soon as I get in the car... I never drive with it on.

Long term will having the VDC off result in mechanic damage or premature wear of anything in the powertrain?

^^Wear out the rear tires faster.

For years and years cars didn't have stability control, or 4 channel abs. Cars did just fine. If you do experience wheel hop, that can cause rear end or other driveline damage.

I always turned it off on my 350Z 6MT unless it was raining or snow on the road...I don't turn it off as much on my G37X AT.

I turn it off if I'm playing. It usually stays on for normal driving.

I push the start button then push the VDC off button... I will however click it back on if I am goign to be on the highway for an extended period of time. I do not drive my car too often though so when I do, it is always for fun!

There are hundreds of threads of people who slid their car off the road because VDC was off. Not saying I dont turn it off, just be careful.
