Was I cheated by dealership?

I bought a G37 @$35,365 (this is out the door price). My down payment was $11,800, so I loaned $23,565 for 36 months @0.9% APR.

The dealership said I needed to pay $663.95/month (total $337.20 interest for 3 years), however, the online car loan calculators told me I should pay $663.71/month (total $328.39 interest for 3 years).

Why is there slight difference?

Loan origination date. Loan payment date... Switching your payments from the first to the fifth could account for that much of a difference. So could starting the interest a day or two sooner. The online loan calculators are good for an estimate of what things will be, but the details are something you need to work out with your creditor.

Oh and if you got 0.9% financing, you did get cheated by your dealership and could have purchased the car for less.

Did you just post a thread asking about a $8.81 discrepancy in interest on a 3 year loan on a $35K car? Really?

I know who was cheated. I was cheated. By being silly enough to click on this thread and read it. I want that last minute of my life back that you just cheated me out of.

There are multiple ways of calculating interest. Monthly, Weekly, daily, even hourly. That makes a differance.

Is this a sarcastic remark? If not, please explain?

Nope, not sarcastic. As they say, nothing in life is free. I wouldn't let you use my money without interest, and neither will Infiniti. They will make money off of you somehow. If it's not in the interest rate, it's in the purchase price. Just like buying points on a mortgage. You're still paying interest, you're just paying it upfront instead of every month. If they offer you an interest rate that is better than your local credit union's normal rate, it's because they're getting their money somewhere else.

I see.. How do you gather from that pic what specific model he got, options, etc..? You're they built the interest into the car?

I know I'm paying more than I should be for the g37 6mt, but on that trim, there very little dealing to be had, at least by the dealers around here...

If they are offering an interest that low, it means his credit is outstanding.

Infiniti would rather make the 0.9% on a credit worthy buyer than allow a bank or CU. Banks pay interest on deposits, therefore have to up the interest. IFS is a free standing corporation!!

Mine was 0.0% AND under invoice!!

lol the online calculators are only a GUIDE. I'm sure there is a disclaimer in that as well. They gave you an approximation.

How did you get .9%? They only offered 0.19% to me as lowest offered by Infiniti.
