Chrome lining peeling on Console Box?

Hey, is anyone else's little C-shaped chrome lining on their console box/armrest starting to crumble and peel a little on the bottom? I was surprised to see such a flimsy piece of material there and how it's starting to peel a bit.

Any thoughts on this?

Oh man I thought I was the only one with the problem and was not worth mentioning but yes I have the same exact problem. After owning the car about 6 months I noticed the peel. I have not done anything about it but I might mention it to the dealer when i take it for few rattling issues.

My 2010 was having the same problem. I showed it to the dealer during an oil change a couple of months ago and they replaced the armrest. They had to order one, but they replaced the whole armrest as the chrome piece is not separate.
