How do you RIDE?

How do you like to sit in your G?

Do you have your seat really far back? Or are you really close to the steering wheel?

What kind of seats do you have in your G? Sport seats? Adjustable support? Do you like your bolsters nice and tight?

How about the back? Are you tilted so far back it feels like you're barely sitting?

How about your steering wheel? Do you have it low and out close to your knees or is it high and close to the dash?

------------------------------------------------

For me, I have the Limited red sport seating with the adjustable leg support.

I use memory setting #1:

-I have the leg supports pulled out halfway.
-The side and thigh bolsters are all the way in-tight.
-The reclining/back is probably at around 95-100 degrees--very upright.
-The seat itself is sitting relatively high. I'm only 5'10" and I like being able to see the front of the car well.
-I have the steering wheel pulled out about halfway and it is about 1.5" inches above my knees.
-My seat is pushed up only close enough so that my index finger touches the edge of the up dial on the round center stack dial without my back moving away from the seat.

It took me almost 8 months to find the perfect driving/cruising position that works for when I want to cruise and be comfortable and when I want to be alert, upright, and focused..

Drive more, worry less.

I don't think you'll get an answer that will be applicable to you. Everyone has different seating preferences. If you drive a manual, you'll probably be slightly closer to the wheel/pedals than if you drove an auto.

My thigh supports all the way soft. My limbar support is not shown in the seat. My back left and right supports are all the way soft. Seat base leg supports (pull out) are all the way out.

The seat is in the floor. My headrests come to the top of the driver/pass windows.

The leg support (bottom portion) is all the way flat. Some people like to sit up, and feel like they are sitting in a chair.

I have always ridden in sports cars, and sports cars seats are on the ground. I love that about the G, I can ride either way.

So I have my seat in the back seat (back portion), and the seat in the floor. So I sit ACROSS the seat with minimal leg bending (can't stand to sit in a car and feel like I'm sitting in a truck).

Quite comfies if I say so myself. Plus if you make the seats look this way, then look at the front of the car it look so badass with the seats all the way back like that. You can see the infiniti in the stitching, and from a frontal view (especially if you are driving going downhill), the car looks amazing.

Do sport cars tend to have the seats low in order to control a car's weight distribution or COG or is it more of an effect from the design of the car..

I will get a few pictures tonight. I wanted to get a picture before I posted to show a better understanding of my seating arrangement. Also, I am auto, so that tells a lot.

Then again, when I drove a stick, I could still gangsta lean the seat, and be able to ****. Wasn't comfortable, but damn sometimes riding you have to lean back.

Both. The design of the car: with sports car the roof is usually shorter, meaning it is in a downed position. The windshield is also leaned back further, so the seating is on the floor, for center of weight, and lowered due to roof clearance.

Tonight, when I get home. I will get a frontal picture of the G, showing the seats and how the car looks sleeker with the seats back, and a picture of my seating positions.

Similar to the design of the 240sx in some ways, the G has taken a few of these properties (if you owned both you would see), such as the seating arrangements. With my seats all the way down, the rear seat is higher in the back. I love the way this looks as it was similar to my 240, and many other cars do not have this design. With the rear seats, and the rear shelf higher, the car looks much better with that back seat shining. Unless you are looking for this, you wouldn't notice it on other cars. But I bought the G specifically for these 2 reasons: one with the seats the way they are, positioned this way, the effect of the vehicle looks better, and that my doors do not have full panels, so when the window is all the way down, the door is just the bottom portion of it. Which to me looks hella good, and I love the ascetics.
