STILLEN products

Is it just me or are stillen products over rated? and priced?

Or is it the opposite? wicked and priced just right...

Having stillen exhaust and air intake system in car is it clean to get installed?

They are a little over priced but your paying for a reputable brand and R&D.

I personally think they're very reasonably priced

What do you mean by clean to get installed?

well i am a newbie to the hole performance part of things... I did visist the stillen websitefor the G37 sedan stuff and I liked the Gen 3 exhaust which gives 14HP more to the car but I guess you also need the Intake stuff rom stillen.. these items go hand in hand....

Clean install meaning like it's not gonna screw up the car or cause damage dents scrathes etc

I'd go with their intake system, since your new to modding depending on your budget Gen 2's are not that off from the gen 3 and they are much less expense to install as they are just a bolt in whereas the 3's you have to dismantle the front of your car As far as exhausts I feel there are much better ones on the market for around the same price, i just don't like the sound or the looks of the stillen. Dents/scratches are from the person who installs your parts, not from the parts themselves, as far as the parts they fit fine.

I love the Gen 3 but don't care for their exhaust. Price wise it seems expensive at first glace but when you factor in you're basically getting two full CAI's and also get it below MSRP I think it's a good deal.

Oh yea.... and the fact that it's proven to make descent gains helps a lot too.

One downfall of the Gen 3 is the lack of noise but that's easily taken care of with RTP's and CBE. I think since it's in front of the radiator it blocks the noise inside the car.

I guess I am not to concnerend about the BOOM effect... Stillen in reputable brand the quality fot he workmanship and etc is important also..

When you say CAI?

I was looking at the

G37 Dual Exhaust System $1000.00

and the Generation 3 Ultra Long Tube Dual Intake Kit

I assume you'll need both right?

Stillen is legit, and I don't believe it to be too pricey. Their stuff is in par with all other brands of similar mods. And lots of Infiniti dealerships deal directly with Stillen and sell their parts, so it's a reputable company. Their stuff fits right and works right, so you should never have a problem.

CAI is just an acronym for cold air intake.

If you're looking at getting the exhaust and intake I'd wait for them to run the buy the exhaust and get the Gen 3 free deal.... I've seen them run it a few times this year. Happy Modding!!!
