Ark or Tanabe

hello all,
If you guys were to get an after mkt exhaust for X sedan, and your options are between ARK and TANABE... which one would you go for?

disregard which exhaust gives you more performance gains.
Just based on looks and sound.

i'm " " this much close to buying either one soon.

BTW, r2c was put on last night. it sounds incredible... more reason to drive!
Thanks to Michael @ TunerZ Store.

I don't have a sedan but when I was debating on the two I went with Tanabe , the sound is more unique and a true Japanese exhaust. Tips look better IMHO , I just hate Burnt Tips I know ark offers Polished tips but stil I vote Tanabe all the way. I even chose Tanabe over Fast Intentions , I had both! in person Tanabe is just so baddass.

Tanabe catback system! If that's too expensive, you can always opt for Invidia Gemini which a cheap but quality catback option for the sedans.

NO... and it should be Stillen VS Tanabe - they look very similar BUT (and I dont have either as I am still researching) from what I have heard Tanabes on the Sedans get real quiet over time and the Stillen CBE are consistently louder than stock... I would prefer Tanabe but I keeps hearing they get too quiet and become pretty sounding like stock over a few months... One other thing to consider Ark is almost double the cost of Tanabe... Stillen is much closer in price... Im really leaning towards Stillen due to price mostly.. If ARK came down to Stillen price levels it might attract me to them..

To me... that Ark exhaust tip looks too sporty & too ricey on sedans. I may want a sound like Ark on my car, but not those tips...

I vote Tanabe between the two, and only if you get the Y & mid pipe, otherwise its pointless...but would Fast Intentions would be my #1 choice over both of these, FULL dual catback, and easily the best sounding.

I've had my Tanabe's for well over a year now and if anything they have gotten louder then when first purchased. No where near the irratating "Fart Can" volume but just a deep throaty growl which increases in volume with Rpm's Most people pass on the Tanabe's because of $$ but the old addage applies here you get what you pay for
