I agree with ACURA2010 on the acurazine forum. I owned 2 Tls, but not the actual one a 2005 and 2007. And i had to do a lot visit to the dealer, to fix transmission, but also a lot of rattles. My 2009 g37X has 40 000 miles and no rattle, and no other issue, except changing a link in the suspension.

Also the brakes wear faster on G37, may be because the good engine make you drive faster

I still like those wheels after looking at them in person, although the ones I saw were not the dark finish, but they still looked decent for factory option wheels.

What's the hype? so special on this L.E?
just my 2 cents but it looks just like a black car with dark wheels, what else?

Yep and even that is not set in stone if rumours about the new G making it's debut at the 2014 NY autoshow are true which might mean the 2015 model being released in 2014.

No worry. I see your point same as me before because we bought G37 in 2011.
I actually spoke with the sales manager at Monrovia, CA about when next gen will be out, according to their schedule, it might release new sedans in 2014 as a 15 model. the coupe will be a bit earlier than that most likely to be in 2013.

I highly doubt if they will have any significantly exterior updates because cost-effectively speaking, the Hybrid or Benz engine could be costly for R&D. So their central focus could be aiming at engine instead of exterior.

I think the current looks on the sedan won't look dated for quite some time even after the next gen comes out and it turns out to be markedly different. There's nothing trendy looking about our sedan which is the worst culprit when it comes to older cars looking dated quickly. It's simply a very handsome design. A good example of a tasteful, handsome design that contines to look great years after is the last gen Acura TL (as well as the last gen G35 coupe), that was a beautiful looking car design and specifically the ones after the mid cycle update with the newer front and rear bumpers, they still look very modern and a hell of alot better than the current TL. The current G37 sedan has that same timeless pedigree unlike the 1st gen G35 sedan which looked rather odd at certain angles.

My main concern is that possible shared Benz platform. The Germans know how to make driving machines, so much so that you usually end up driving them to the service dep't every other month so that will probably temper any desire to trade mine in for the next gen.

You made a very good point there. Many previous gen cars stand out better than current gen, a very good example is the 03-06 TLs, so with this being said our current engineered model would still be timelessly stand out in the crowd even the new G here in 2014

Can your birdie get a pic of the interior? Still curious to know if they made the WHOLE thing "graphite" inside.

Just saw the Limited edition at Massapequa. Car is overall really nice but can be easily made yourself with an aero kit, grill, and rims.

The pictures in the website show the L.E. has the BBK. I wonder why it has standard brakes in the spy shot?

RWD will get the BBK. AWD gets the pseudo-S package, with the non-BBK brakes.
