What is an accelerator position reset?

On my car, all the power feels like it's in the first 1/4 of the pedal movement. It would be nice (I think) to spread that out a bit...

It must be performed each time harness connector of accelerator pedal position sensor or ECM is disconnected.

The loaner is probably a g37x with 17s inch rims.
Less weight & smaller rims.
And is also 200 lbs lighter, if i am not mistaken.

I'm actually realizing that. The fn discount tire guy said that it wouldn't make a difference. I order 245/40/19 front and 275/35/19 rear, but the douche called few days latter and said that he can't get those but can get these. He said that these tires are practically same size but very small margin of difference.

Also the loaner was not and X. It was a journey with 17s.

I never knew they had this. Ill try it on my car tomorrow, it cant hurt anything. How would you know if the process you did went through? Is there a flashing light or something to confirm it??

I haven't read all the posts yet, but this is what I thought right away. Heavier wheels and tires is a whole lot of added unsprung weight which will make the "butt dyno" tell you it's driving heavy... because it is.

Those tires are an inch larger diameter (you had me scratching my head when you said 5 inches, lol) and you speedo will be 2mph slower at 60 mph. It's over 3% difference from the stock size so you may run into Traction control & ABS issues, plus your speedo error.
I'd definitely raise some hell at the tire shop, they shouldn't be selling you tires over 3% different +/- unless you specifically request it.
