G37 or M35

Parked in the garage at work and saw a recent M35x. I have a new G37x. Was wondering if I'd swap it for a slightly older M with the 3.5 liter engine. I decided I wouldn't. Horsepower is very important to me. An M56 I would for sure. What would you guys do? Just curious.

They are such different cars, I wouldn't want one. Maybe when I'm old.. and I'm 52 now!

I have the M, also have a G. The M is a much nicer car and ride. More luxorious. You can put some 20's on and drop the M and it will look bad ***!

There is good reason the G is the only Infiniti on this list Top 30 Best-Selling Luxury Vehicles In America and the lower price isn't it, but it helps .

my 2011 M handles just as good as a G does even w/ the extra space. the older M's were just too underpowered

I'm surprised to see the IS so far down the list. Around here they are just as common as a 3xx Bimmer

If you want or need more room, a quieter drive and improved interior materials, then the M wins hands down, if you want a car that makes you smile every time you get in it than the G ftw

Don't underestimate the M35H. Rumor has it, it's darn near as quick as the M56, and a whole lot easier on the gas. If I had an extra 56 grand lying around. . . .

I actually was in love with the M35 from a styling and luxury standpoint. I came out of an Acura TL and figured it was time to "move up" so I went and got a great deal on a pre owned M35 - 2007 fully loaded with only 35K miles. I drove it for a day and took it back and got my 2009 G. The thing felt like a boat and the cabin was way too massive. Couldnt be happier with my decision.

It is almost as quick as a 56 but dont plan on getting good gad mileage if your trying to make it so. Gets much worse gas mileage then a 56 when your pushing it, in line with the top gear episode where they put an m3 and a prius on the track where the m3 got better gas mileage.

On an 8 mile fun road i got 4.9 mpg with the hybrid Driving normal though it does get great gas mileage
