My G37 has a new problem
After driving for around 3700 miles, I just noticed a new issue on my G37x. When I push the gas pedal, at some point, the engine speed will suddenly goes up, then goes down, which gives me an acceleration feeling.
Did you guys have same situation?
oh, BTW, is $45 expensive for an oil change in dealership?
Thanks!

I believe so. feels like when i push the gas, it shifts down to 2nd gear, then suddenly shifts up to 3rd gear, then going down.

not sure about your issue, but $45 sounds right for a dealership oil change

try having them perform this
The bulletin has been designated as ITB10-075 and covers 2009-2011 G37 and the 2011 G25.
Fixed my issue with awful down shift and fluttering gear changing.
Pick up still a little spotty but much smoother

I already installed this patch when I got it as a brand new.

Sounds like it's just the transmission downshifting

the problem is like:
Gas pedal is not pushed during this process:
4th gear-->3rd gear-->2nd gear-->3rd gear-->2nd gear--1st gear

Hello
if ur car is still under warranty, u would better take it to the dealership for checkup.. as it could be from the ratio programming of the transmission or such
regards

45 is cheap for an oil change at the dealership, considering it's semi synthetic.
