Angry Caught in the worst Hail!

Went to the doctors office, got caught in a really bad hail storm... Now the G is all dented from the front bumper to rear bumper.(doors, hood, trunk, roof, corners, etc)

Do you think stuff like the roof, roof edges(part between roof and door rubber), hood and trunk can be repaired??? So pissed. Even the body between the rear side window and rear window is damaged.

Called my insurance, they said someone will get back to me in 24 hrs.

Really Really Really Pissed!!!!

These pics dont do justice. Got tons and tons of more dents then you can see in the pics. Atleast 60+ dents.

Everything can be repaired....but it will take a good shop to repair it well. That was good sized hail....way bigger than golf *****. Typically a body shops will replace the dented trim and broken pieces along with the hood and trunk lids. They will probably pop, pull, and putty the dents on the roof and top of fenders. Much of the car will be repainted. The damage is way to much for pdr. Good luck.....

At least the insurance claim is comprehensive and does not directly impact future rate increases.

I live in Queens too. I was at someone else house as I was reading this. And all the sudden, I hear hail landing on my car!! I looked out and it was like quarter sized hail bombarding my G. There was nothing I could do...except to keep watching. Thankfully, it stopped in about a minute. My son, wife, and myself ran into the car as fast as possible and headed home. On the way home, it was raining like mad. Traffic was very especially slow. Thankfully we arrived home without being hit with another hail storm. The car is now parked safely in my garage.

Since the car is wet, I couldn't tell if there is any damage...but based on what I see so far, no damage. I'll check it tomorrow.

OP, hopefully insurance will take care of the repair. Good luck.

I feel for you. My wife was caught in the same storm over in Westchester County. Her G37 sedan has damage on the hood and roof - but nowhere near as bad as your car. I'm on the phone with GEICO right now getting the claim all set.

I can imagine how pissed you must be. So much damage over the whole car is enough to make you sick. Good luck with you ins. company and getting it fixed right.
