I wonder if low 13's...

Will be running down to the tracks in a few weeks with a couple of friends. I've been hunting around, looking for track tips and so forth. I'm stocked! Anyways, I've seen I/E G37 Coupes do 13.5 in cruddy conditions, not to mention some DE Z's do 13 flat with gears. 13 flat possible? I'll be running all the current mods in my sign, along with my Volk TE's w/ low profile summer tires (19 by 8.5 and 9.5). Thoughts?

Just for clarification: exhaust, intakes, tps, uprev tuned, te37's (our cars are heavy...every bit counts) + some minor weight reduction bits (like i said, every bit counts). oh and 6mt

Every little bit counts, so make sure you don't eat for the next few weeks and remove the spare and all the tools/jack from your trunk.

How far do you want to go? Drain the windshield washer fluid, low fuel in the tank?

There's always Ex-Lax the night before!

13.49 is very good for an X, what was your trap speed in the 1/4?

With your mods, dont see why not, if you get a good launch.
Plus you are tuned, just dont mis shift.

+1 to spare tire, it is so heavy lol. I took mine out, figure the thing wouldn't fit on my car even if I needed it with the suspension set up I have. You should have no problem hitting those numbers with proper launch and no miss shifts. Remember your car is quicker then the coupes stock so..

13.49 @ 106.x is very impressive.

I guess the OP should be able to hit low 13's/13 flat with his mods.
