Hey guys,

Bought a new 2011 G37xS roughly a month ago.

Noticed that today the driver side door lock does not unlock/lock. This is with the outside door button and the inside door unlock/lock buttons on both the driver and passenger doors.

Now, is there something that I accidentally triggered to make the door unlock/lock function not work or do I have a faulty part?

Also, the other three doors lock/unlock just fine.

Not sure if this makes any difference at all, but I did get illuminated kickplates installed today. Could this by chance mess up some wiring that's linked to the door locks?

could be related to the lighting, just take it back to the dealer.

 

Yeah, just wanted to make sure there wasn't something simple I missed before doing so. That and due to my schedule I would have wait a week before I would be able to do so
