G37 Sedan Paddle Shifters

I have a 2009 g37x and would like to install paddle shifters. I do not have the nav package so it does not come prewired for them. Is there anyway to get the wiring and if so could someone post a how to for wiring install. Sorry if this is posted in wrong section. thanks for your time

I'm pretty sure all sedans are pre-wired for the paddle shifters, just takes a little work to find them buried behind the airbag.

Do a search and you'll find a DIY tutorial on how to install them. Good luck

IMHO, you can probably plug them in. Riverside or Orange Coast Infiniti have them for sale on eBay. ~$275.00 I think they are worth every cent.

I agree, Just installed mine last friday and I love them. Very easy install as well. I purchased mine from OC infiniti off ebay for 255 shipped. Makes the G so much more fun to drive and it gives you instant control of the gears when needed. Here is a link.

Is it possible to contact them directly and ask? Or they are exclusively online?

Yup all sedans should come pre wired the ones that might not are some coupes. I installed these in my 2009 sedan and it was a breeze under 45 min install time.

I've wanted to get them for a while, but was worried about the "pre-wired/not pre-wired" issue. So far, all of you guys who posted saying you love your paddles, have the nav package. So how can you be sure?

I have factory paddle shifters in my 2006 A6 Corvette. They are more of a novelty than anything. Sorta fun at first, but it wears off quickly and rarely use them after a few months.

salvador312, The paddles add an additional "interface" with the 7AT. Easy to move up or down a gear, "short shift", with hands on the wheel, eyes on the road. For me, they are perfect for driving on mountain / coastline roads while driving spritedly or just driving. An up/down shift in "D" returns to "D" in a short time, a longer time if you are cornering or driving up / down hill. Nice feature, even for an old dude. ;-) A good mod / factory upgrade for the money IMHO.

Does anyone have the DIY for the paddle shifter without removing the steering wheel? I cannot seem to find it.
