I recently got a 2011 G37 sedan. black on black
does anyone in los angeles know where i can get my rims powdercoated or if doing my exhaust is a better idea?

what are the best exhaust for g37s?
ive heard stillen is good, lemme know what u guys think

Welcome Aboard man! If you have the $$$ I'd get the HKS, if not get the Ark...

 

I'd suggest go to ARK directly, they are located near Diamond Bar/Chino Hills and they can install the Ark Catback for free in less than 15 minutes.
I bought my catback about 2 weeks ago and I LOVE IT. It has that perfect tone and it looks great.
I was in the same position as you.. HKS or ARK. "IF" you have extra money to waste, go HKS if no go ARK. I've never heard the HKS in person but i'm pretty sure it sounds good also.

 

Tanabe or Fast Intension

 

If you go with an exhaust I would say either ARK or Fast Intentions. My friend has the FI on his G and that sound is money. If you are going to do your wheels, i would powdercoat them or you can save yourself a ton of cash and plastidip them. I'll post some pictures of my wheels later and besides your time, supply will run you about $25. Can t beat that.

 

Powder coating will hold up better than paint....just make sure you take it to a reputable shop....if done right you will have no problems...and like anything else, if not done right, you will...

 

how much did the Ark Catbacks cost you in total?
also where near los angeles would you know that can help me with purchasing and installtion

 

Total otd in cash 900$. The only ARK warehouse is located near Diamond Bar/Chino hills. Its about 30-1Hour drive depending on traffic from Los Angeles. If you're really interested let me know. I'm going to be in LA(ktown specifically) tomorrow so if you want to hear the exhaust in person maybe you can stop by? up to you.
