Better if milage was 4 or 5, but, warranty is the same. Could be a lever for a small discount?

Thank you guys for all the input. I inquired, the dealer said that the car was move from one dealer to another. They are not sure about the distance between both of them but said that the car was in perfect conditions !!!!!!!! They are bringing the car on a carrier so there are not putting any more miles on it. They also said that because of the Tsunami, it is really hard to get 6 Manual speed nowadays !!!!!!!Will see
Thanks

Take a pass. If you had enough doubt to make a post, don't do something you might regret later.

I probably would not worry too much. Check out the window sticker; it will reflect the origin of the dealer where the car was first delivered.

Wouldn't bother me too much. Those 189 miles may be the hardest of its whole life though lol.

I bought mine with roughly 6 miles on the odo. Even then I was skeptical. We tagged (nothing official) our current 6MT immediately the day it landed in port. Then we walked in to the dealership to sign papers the day it was delivered to the dealership, RIGHT as someone asked to test drive it. PHEW! On the contrary, it took us 3 weeks to find one in our region (with, at the time 2 dealerships in our state).

I like to break in cars by going hard on them, but i always let everything warm up ...

Id ask the dealer if they can hold it for a bit, to see if another one pops up if not ... buy it

I ordered mine last month with 35 miles delivered BUT!!!! I had to pay an extra 600 bucks to get it delivered from Chicago to MN. Apparently no one wants to have a rwd car, let alone a 6MT. But regardless of your choice I LOVE mine and am very happy with it! I work at a dealership (not Infiniti ) and we do trades all the time, especially with the current conditions and colors/models/trims it is tough! I think when I picked mine up on the 22nd of June there were roughly 27 6MT Sedans in the entire US brand new....so yea they are very tough to get and with the Tsunami certain colors are not available. I heard GM and Ford couldn't do simple colors like black or white because the pigments are created overseas.....silly American car companies Enjoy it and keep us posted!

I bought mine used with 250miles on it. A guy purchased it and brought it back for an M after 1 weekend. I got $8000 off because it was "used" I would just try to negotiate the price. if the car breaks later, it should show issues by 50k then just have it fixed under warranty

I bought my '07 G35S with over 200 miles on it new. It was a perfectly fine car.
187 is fine. The notion that an engine or transmission can't handle a dozen or so drives where someone abused it is pretty silly.

well, mine had arnd 300 miles when it was delivered to me....The combination I requested for was hard to find, and they found one around 200 miles from the dealer...Someone had to drive it in and then bring it to my state for delivery and registration...See the car, if you love it, go for it...no worries...

The other interesting thing is, I recently read an article (there is a thread on here somewhere) were an engine builder damn near proved it was MORE beneficial to drive a car hard it's first few miles to properly contour the cylinder and rings rather than the common "take it easy".

I think I found it - Break In Secrets--How To Break In New Motorcycle and Car Engines For More Power

..they are motorcycle engines, but a 4 stroke is a 4 stroke.

Interestingly enough I bought a V6 Accord coupe back in '01 with 3 miles on the odometer. Drove it like a bat out of hell from the get go. I promise you all that it dynoed higher then many other Accords from my local forum at the time. People called it a factory freak, but looking back, I know exactly why. Its not about beating the car to ****, but more about not being afraid to taking it to redline. I can attest to this personally. I even have videos with me racing the G35 coupe when it first came out in 2003 and spanking it. It was crazy and all I had was bolt ons.

Good luck, if it looks clean, and runs well, I wouldn't worry too much at all.
