Criminal Mischief - Please help!!

My newly washed/waxed G37 was keyed by someone in a mall parking lot yesterday.. Needless to say, I am heartbroken for my G.

Photos attached... Do I replace the vinyl/plastic piece ? Is it a DIY ? Can it be touched up ?

Thanks

Difficult to tell with those pictures. Is it...deep? Can't really tell from the pictures. You could always repaint them? It honestly wouldn't be too much. Or if you don't like that idea...you can just wrap all the trims (at least it wasn't on the hood or something) no sweat it happens...keep your head held high!

Ugh. Sorry this happened to you and sorry to hear about this same story yet again.

It really is some sort of special F'd up jealous mindset that makes people feel the need to destroy something they can't have themselves.

Anyway, I don't know what exactly I'm looking at other than a scratched up G... is that the outside B-pillar? (piece between front and rear windows)
Maybe take a full or partial car picture further back and draw a red circle around the affected part(s) in paint or Photoshop so people can help you more in depth.

That's not a key mark. Looks more like a scrape or something brushing up against it. Google infiniti parts, there are tons of reputable places that sell OEM parts. Can't be more than a hundo.

If that's the pillar between windows, should be an easy fix, just contact Infiniti parts. A body shop told me this area is one of the weakest in design and to expect scratches and eventual replacement. I believe it's just a vinyl film.
