Got my eye on a 2009 G37x

So I am new here and have not actually gotten my car yet but am going to look at a few used tomorrow. I have my eye on the 2009 G37x sedan but was also going to take a low milage 2008 G35x out as well based on some of the posts here. I have been reading some of the things people don't like about the 7 speed transmission and the paint, which has me alittle worried.

So, just wanted to see what people think about the two in comparison. I am am average driver which spends most of the time on the highway or in traffic. Want to know what I should be looking for when driving both. On paper they are pretty much the same car and the two I am looking at are both in good shape and low miles. One is silver and the other black.

I am in NJ. Has anyone ever dealt with Circle Infiniti or Holman Infiniti?

imo g37 is better then 35, but the 09 year is the main one with issues with the transmission on the 37

The G37 is far superior to the G35.

Even if the cars end up equal for you when you drive them the resale value down the road of a current model vs an old model should sway you to the g37. Have fun shopping.

What's the quote they gave you for the 37x, if you dont mind me asking. I'm "selling" mine, I think, if you would be interested. 15k miles. PM me if you are intersted.

I had the same dilemma, choice of G35xS or G37x sedan, went with the 37, even the sales guy said I would regret it later if I got the older & less powerful car. Although the paddle shifters would've been nice...

^You can add the paddles for a few hundred. Virtually all the cars are wired for them, search for threads on where to buy the parts and how to do it.

paddle shifters are useless imo use em for a week or so then if you want manual use the floor shifter, much more natural feeling
