I'm wondering if sedans have the "special" infiniti exhaust tone to it.
I heard they toned it down from the previous generation models. Can't figure out if sedans have the same loudness as the coupe model.
The stock exhaust tone on the sedan is almost non-existant. The V35 sedans are actually louder than the V36 sedans. Yes, we got jipped. You need an aftermarket exhaust to bring some life in your sedan.
I've heard that simply changing the midpipe to the coupe midpipe pretty much brings that tone back. Probably simpler/easier/safer than getting a whole new exhaust.
Won't work without cutting and welding, the sedan exhausts are one piece minus the Y pipe. Also the sedan exhausts are a quarter inch thinner than the coupes.

This was done on many of the older gen sedans with the older gen coupe mid-pipes. Our generation sedan and coupes do not have interchangeable exhaust systems. To my knowledge, just the Y-pipes are the same. It would be better to just go with an aftermarket exhaust to improve the sound, aesthetics, and for more gains.
