Blue Slate xS Sport Chin and Midnight Grill

After having the lease for a while I'm thinking of adding the sport chin and midnight grill. Can you do this to a lease after the fact? Can I buy them on a inifniti parts website and have them installed at a body shop to save dealer$hip costs? Anyone have a xS in blue slate with these installed for picture reference? Thanks.

I don't think your dealership will have any issues at all if you return your leased G with and added factory sport chin and midnight grill as long as the installer did a good job.

Yes, you can buy these from an inifniti parts website and have them installed at a body shop to save dealer$hip costs, just make sure the body shop knows what they are doing and doesn't mess up your car with a sloppy install job.

hey i'm not sure i've seen any sedans with the midnight grill but i've seen it on the coupe. not usually a fan of black with blue but i think it actually looks pretty good (my car is blue slate also so i was considering this as well)

there are pictures out there if you do a search

There are more than a few sedans with midnight grills (I have one but my car is GS). It is a part you can swap relatively easily when you return the lease (unlike the lip). OP check in the sedan media section for pics.

Thanks for the replies.

After some searching I managed to find these pics.

What's the consensus on where to buy both items cheap?
And I'm assuming I can install the grill myself and take the bumper to a bodyshop for roughly an hours worth of work?

Correct. Do the lip yourself!

Just got off the phone with the dealer.
They wanted $415 for the sport lip and $180 for labor.
And $460 for the grill, the cheapest I can find online is on ebay for 380. Anyone selling or can find it for under 300? Thanks.

on a lease, is it worth it? I supposed on a purchased car, it'd be the same deal since these types of add-ons are usually worthless once done.

I've owned my last 2 cars and both times i've sold them at the 3 1/2 yr mark so i decided to do a 39 month lease. Same thing w/o the hassle of trying to sell, for a loss nontheless.
