He loved it!
For those that followed a few of my posts a couple weeks back, I was buying a 2011 G37 sedan for my husband's 35th birthday to replace our 2001 Honda Accord we have had for almost 10 years. I couldn't decide between black and graphite shadow and 99% of you suggested I get GS (based on our behavior with cars).
Well... yesterday was his birthday. We went with another couple to Flemings for their 5-6-7 happy hour (which I would highly recommend!). I had the dealer deliver the new car to me that I purchased 2 weeks ago to Flemings that afternoon (it had been at the dealer since purchase on 1/31).
We valeted our old car when we got there and when we went to leave, the valet pulled up the new car! It was great... he was very surprised, loves the car, loves the color, etc.
He could care less about the price (I'm the CFO of the family)... but for those that want to know it is a 2011 Journey Sedan, Premium, kick plates, splash guards, trunk mat, etc (MSRP $39,140) that I got for $31,990 plus dealer fee ($699 - ugh), TTL for a total of $34,8XX OTD. I couldn't be happier about the price as well as the service I was given. Oh and they tinted the windows too.
