Now I know this must just be something silly, but I recently moved to AL, and I drove the uhaul and my brother drove my car. We had to overnight in north MS while we picked some extra stuff, so I did not really pay attention to or drive my car for two days.

When finally ended at my new place, my brother remarked how odd it was that my car didn't beep when he locked or unlocked it. I said that's not true, it gives a little double beep or single beep.

Checked it out, and sure enough no beeping when using either the fob or door buttons. What gives? For the life of me, I can't figure this out, or get my beeps back! What did he do or change on my car? Anybody?

 

I believe if you hold the lock and unlock buttons on you fob for a few seconds, the lights will flash and reactivate your beeps.

 

check your manual on steps how to get back the beep.

 

Yeah I think the hold lock and unlock until it beeps is a way to toggle between silent and not. There is a section in the manual for it though. Also it sounds like this thread might help you out a bit as well:
