I changed the turn signals and blacked out the sidemarker. No amber.

Has anyone added the LED oem daytime running lights to their car? Anyone have a ballpark about how much that would cost?

Those OEM kits are pretty steep, something like $600-700.

Thanks, what details are ya lookin for?

Wasn't actually as hard as I thought it was gonna be....just tedious. You definitely have to take your time separating the housing from the lense though....that was probably the hardest part of the project.

Yes, bought them from a forum member here for $225. Well, not exactly OEM...they are good copies of OEM.

I've heard in upwards of $800+ for factory OEM installed.

Oh, I've already done the whole DIY headlight project, and not really wanting to go through it again
Just curious what you did for the red glow accent, looks pretty mean.
(Just in case I ever want to crack those damn things open again)

The demon eye?

Just put 2 LEDs at 9/3 o'clock on the inside of the hid projector housing. Ran the wires through the slats in the side. Wasn't tough. Wired them in with all the other wires.

Interesting looking, Rad_Slinger, no doubt. Demon eye, LOL.

But red in the headlight is like a neon sign on your roof that reads "Pull me over!" Good luck, buddy.

Damn you Rad, now you got me thinking, and we all know what happens next.
Do you have any pics or a link of this particular DIY, and do you just have those wired to a separate switch. Just trying to picture how you mount them inside the lens so they stay secure and out of the way of the projector.
As much as I hate to pull them apart again you might have forced me to

It's really not that complicated.

They're wired all in together. There's no separate DIY... Just 2 LEDs, mounted into the inside of the projector. That's it.

Quit making it harder than it is lol.
