what is the difference between both..i got the g37xs and today i saw a g37x which looked just like mine?

That's the main difference besides packages you have on your car.

i cant see the difference in the headlights and what is the front fascia

 

Front fascia is your front bumper.
S and xS have bumpers like this

as far as the headlights I see no difference either. They are supposed to be darker.

Post pics of your car. If it's an xS it should have the sport front bumper with the split spoke 18's. Also, Red S on the trunk. Look at this link. It's an xS

its an xs it has the s in the back but my bumper does not look like that..the only thing i have thats s are the seats that have the thigh extender but my bumper looks like the regular g37

 

Okay they both have the aero package on them. Does your front bumper look like this?

That's what it is suppose to have. The original posted pictures included the Aero package. The sport front fascia is more squared off around the fog lights where as the standard is more round and less aggressive. Look in the photo section here on G37 or on autotrader and you'll see the difference.

 

The xS looks like a badass!! That's the difference.

I actually laughed out loud when I read your post. When you went into the dealership to purchase your car, how did you decide that you wanted the xS and not just the X? I find it funny after purchasing the car you didnt even know there was another trim available. Lots of salespeople LOVE people like you. Not saying its a bad thing, my parents are the same way. They goto the dealership and see what they like and buy it without knowing exactly all the features in each trim/packages. Glad you got the one you liked more after seeing the pics. Maybe it's just me, but the back end of the 10/11 xS seems to sit higher than the back end of just the x, more specifically my 09 x. why is this? is it the larger rims?

 

well i leased the car for a real good price it came with the sports package navi and premium that's what was offered so i took it..if i were to buy the car then i would definitely make sure i know what i would be buying
