G37 Sport Appearance Edition

I was browsing the Infiniti website and came across this special edition G37:

Infiniti G37 Sport Appearance Sedan | Infiniti USA

Upon further inspection, it's just a regular 7AT (no MT) with the aerodynamic package and accessory wheels; incredibly lame

Kind of looks like the older M wheels. Not a fan...wonder why they are even offering this as a special "package". Hmmm...

BMW offers these kinds of "sport" packages on the 3 and 5 series a lot. Infiniti is trying to do the same. Add an aero kit and some different wheels and charge an extra $2,100 for it.

I am sorry but I just don't see the reason for this.

It's a non sport version for those that don't want a sport package w/aero kit. I'm not a fan of the look, kinda boring...

Yeah, sorta confusing, too. OK, there's the sport model (the S), which has a different front end and front aero spoiler than the non sport. Now they are calling the non sport with an aero package the "sport appearance"? How can it "appear" to be the sport when it's not the sport and looks different? Strange...

sport appearance = meaning it has the non-sport seats in it, no paddles... just the look.

i actually like the non sport front -- reminds me much of the coupe front end.

so not worth it.

buying it later prices
300 for lip
300 for spoiler
wheels 500 (normal dealer price for upgrade option 18's)

dealer prices cost probably around 1800 for it. Since it has to be lower than the actual S pkg. but even then S pkg doesn't give you the lip and rear spoiler

My buddy's boss just picked up the new 2011 limited edition G37xS sedan. He some how got the monaco red interior with a moonlight white exterior....said he had to wait
3-4 weeks to get it. Possible? If so, sign me up asap!
