Back on track

With all the posting going on here of unfortunate accidents involving brand new Gs, I thought I'd post this to prove that there's light at the end of the tunnel. Here's a pic that some of you might recognize from a previous post of the damage our car sustained from an uninsured driver while my wife was driving it:

Here's the final repair work after 5 weeks in the body shop:

And finally, a current pic of the car with the recently installed aero kit. Even though delayed for a while, she's finally getting to the stage we had envisioned:

Thanks guys. The cost of the repairs (less the rental car) were a little over 6K. The insurance company estimated them initially at around $1,800, at which I laughed. They ordered the quarter panel to be repaired, but I warned the body shop that I would be **** about the slightest flaws I could find. I think they got the message and ordered a brand new OEM quarter panel. I'm pleased with the quality of the work and that it was all just damage to the skin, with no mechanical damage. Even though it was a big pain in the **** getting the car back to normal, we are content with the results, especially knowing we have a lifetime warranty through Allstate AND Holmes Body Shop on any of the repair work.
