My friend just dropped his car off at our local Infiniti dealer and he said they are now charging $10 for a loaner.
Thats a bunch of BS.
Do all of your dealers charge? This is my 4th Infiniti, and they never charged for loaners in the past.

Time for your friend to make a call to corporate.

 

Some do and some don't. There's no reason to "call corporate", they can do what they want to.

 

Loaners are courtesy, not a right.

That dealer just isnt that courteous!!

 

I didn't pay at both Riverside Infiniti, and Monrovia Infiniti! Both were warranty work.

Two great dealers BTW!

 

Never had to pay anything, just had to bring it back w/ the same level on the gas tank.

Yeah. Fields is supposed to charge you for loaner depending completely on your insurance. I have state farm insurance and if you get into a wreck and they dont charge you the minimum of 5 dollars (10 for some insurance companies) then if you get into a wreck they said you will get all kinds of hassle and may not get coverage. They showed me a list of people they have to charge a small amount to. They charge the minimum too.

 

We don't charge for Loaners... Retention is an important part of our business...

I wish we had more dealers around, but we only have one in Jacksonville. The next closest is 2 hours away in Orlando.

 

kearny mesa infi. down here in sd charges 15 for a loaner but they gave u half a tank of gas n u dont have to fill it back up when returning

 

Thought "free loaners" were a corporate driven/reimbursed program for warranty work

 

yes probably it's a $10 charge but it gets reimbursed when you bring the car back with the same amount of gas.

It's simple, just like enterprise, avis, zip car... car has a full tank, bring it back a full tank.

We had gas bills of almost $10,000 per month coming out of our pocket. And don't bring the car back dented or scratched -- we see that.
