"ICY" symbol on dash board?

Hey guys, was commuting to work this morning and it was freezing. Car showed the "ICY" symbol on the dashboard and no idea what that means. It actually had a picture of like an old school key next to the letters ICY. This was right under the temperature reading.

That light will come on when temperatures are cold enough for ice. Just an alert. Nothing is wrong. Must have been cold this morning in Jersey.

it means the outside temperature has dropped to near or below freezing levels.......its a reminder to be careful as there could be ice on the road

also if you ever hit -56C you might notice that your oil drain plug will start to leak. I know it happens.

Yup, got the same little ICY symbol this morning too (it was around 30 F).

Yeah, no kidding it's cold outside! I don't think I need the car to tell me that
