When you push the acceleration pedal all the way to the floor, it goes smoothly for 95%, then when is allmost at the floor, if you push it harder, you can feel a "click" on the pedal and the pedal goes 5 mm more to the floor.

Now try this wile driving (make sure there's no car in front of you).
When you get the the "click" (the acceleration is at the floor) the car will downshift 2-3 gears then will accelerate very agresive.

I have that "click" on the acceleration pedal on both my G37.
x Sedan and convertible.

Also if you change gears manualy, the car will feel much faster especialy in low gears (1,2,3) because the torque converter lock's much faster in manual mode.
