broken spoiler

too make a long story short, my wife backed into an obstruction that almost tore the rear spoiler off. nothing else was damaged but there was a long scratch that i was able to polish out near the spoiler. the backup camera and trunk release still operate fine and its hard to notice the spoiler is damaged unless you try to wiggle it. there is a little bit of give and you can see a small crack in the molding in the tiny area underneath the back up camera lens. has anybody had their spoiler replaced? i was wondering how much it costs to replace it. im thinking over time the spoiler may loosen up to the point where it will be noticable. this is the common chrome spoiler that comes standard

the pictures are hard to make out but it shows the 1/4 of an inch gap where the spoiler should be flush with the car.

I'd just get the OEM sport spoiler and remove the chrome one completely.

If it is the OEM spoiler you are looking for, then it is probably around 500~600 installed.

If you need to replace the chrome piece, you can probably buy one cheap from someone here, as many are removed when a full spoiler is installed.

An OEM spoiler painted can be had for somewhere in the $325 to $400 range. Install it yourself, or take it to a body shop for a cheaper install. Dealers usually want too much. I was quoted $300 for install by dealer.

Riverside Infiniti's eBay store has the OEM sport spoilers. $368+shipping buy I think if you called/emailed them, you could haggle a bit. And yes. Save $ and install yourself. You may have to drill a few holes but it's very manageable.
