So what does it cost to black out the taillights on your car? and how do they do it?

there is 2 ways to black out the tail lights, film or paint. paint done right will produce a shine and look that will be flawless. film is a quick way to do it but does have a wavy look to it and will not hold up against the weather for more than a year. its a matter of what your looking to spend

Would it be tacky if I used CF wrap on the chrome trim/ chrome trunk bit/ chrome parts on the midnight grill ? The car color is OB.

Maybe ok for the parts on front and back, but on the window trim youre trying to make it disappear, not stand out. I think it would look tacky on the window trim.

Would like some more details. What material did you use and where did you get it? Did you remove all the trim pieces then reinstall?

this is not a bad idea at all because, believe it or not, our B pillars are wrapped in black vinyl. if you peal off that vinyl, you will have body colored b pillars.

so the black vinyl on the chrome trim will match best

I used gloss black vinyl from a sign shop. I didnt remove the pieces. I put it on and then VERY carefully trimmed around and tucked it wherever possible. I wouldnt say its easy to apply, but if you have experience with vinyl its not that difficult because its a small surface.

Would the vinyl bubble and peel?
