i think that's what they did for my roof rattle. had to bring the car in twice for them to finally fix it. however, you can tell where they ripped the headliner off now.

Did anyone find out where this noise or rattle is coming from?

i still believe it's the rear deck where the bose speaker is. mostly on the passenger side though.

AHHHH finally someone else posted this rattle too! Just took my car into the dealer this morning for my first oil change and had them look for this noise coming from the rear passenger side. I too sat in the back seat trying to pinpoint it, and I did have the dealer tint the car before i even picked it up.

However, the dealer had them redo the tint because the first time the tint had cutout around the brake light, but my salesmen said it looked funny so he made them do it again and go underneath it. actually looks much better to me as well.

My issue is more of a tick/squeak sound, like the leather is rubbing or the seatbelt is pushed up against something. I've tried pressing down on everything but can't pinpoint it myself. I highly doubt they will find and resolve the noise.

apparently it's hard to make a car rattle free these days. and here I thought the Infiniti will solve my Audi rattle problem (and both VWs prior).

I have the same problem but I can't pinpoint either. I pressed down on the Bose cover, seems tight enough. Extended all seatbelts out and in. Pressed down on the seats and all seems secure. If you have any other tricks please send them. I just hate to go to the dealer and have them rip stuff apart and still not find it. I sold a 2003 Nissan Maxima and it never had any rattles. This is starting to annoy me know. If you hear or find anything forward them over.

Thanks,

my 4500 mile 2010.... rattles EVERYWHERE. roof styrofoam noise, rear deck, front side pillars where the front door frames are, BOTH passenger and driver armrests rattle continuously when driving, what the fuhh? what do i do with these?

i dont trust infiniti dealers. they claim to have checked my alignment that is obviously off because my tires are wearing very unevenly and im steering off to the right, and its still doing the same thing.

i had the roof rattle, but that was fixed after 2 trips to the dealer. they ripped the headliner off and put in some insulation foam in there. my only other rattle now is that damn rear deck.

Also make sure the rubber weatherstrip around the trunk pass-through opening is secure. After my tint work, this part was removed and forgotten about. Without it, the plastic pass-through door will be tapping against the plastic assembly behind the seats.

I have 2010 G37x and mine rattles too - no tinting done. I mentioned to the service advisor that it seemed like the speaker and they said they couldn't replicate. I've been driving with this rattle from the rear for about 6 months now and it's quite annoying. I know exactly when the rattle starts every morning - exact spot in the high way entrance that I drive everyday. It rattled for about minute or so and dies down when I am on a smooth surface.

I too have a 2010xs which I bought in July. I have the same annoying rattle in mine. I went to a dealer this past Saturday and tried to pick the service advisor brain. Of course he told me he never heard of such a complaint. I was messing with my car the other day, and I was just tapping my finger all around the bose speaker cover and I heard the same noise I hear when I'm driving over rougher roads. It is very annoying. I'm constantly lowering the radio just to hear it again. I definalely think its somewhere around the speaker. Check it out and tell me what you think!
