Picked up my 2010 xS, liquid silver, last night and couldnt be happier so far.

Well, not 100% true because I'm having a problem setting my phone book.

Here's the scoop - I'm able to connect my blackberry with no issues whatsoever. But when I press the phone button on the steering wheel nothing happens so I cant get into the menu options to get to "Vehicle Phonebook". The button itself works (i.e. it's wired) because once I'm in the setup menu that you get to by clicking on the 'speak' button on the steering wheel, the 'phone' button properly pages me back.

I searched the threads but cant find anything similar. Has anyone experienced the same?

 

I had the same problem with mine when I tried to download my phone book from my Android. Some reason, without my knowledge the phone book did transfer over.

If you are aggravated now, just wait till you are driving and want to scroll through your phone book, to make a call. Doesn't let you... Car has to be at a complete stop to use the scroll feature of the phone book.

 

Thanks, but no such luck for me. Nothing loaded and the phone button is still altogether unresponsive. Now that the phone book transfered does the phone button (the lower one of the steering wheel) work for you?

 

Mine works fine. You know one of the next things you may want to try setting up is the Voice Recognition. I noticed once I set that up the phone button worked fine for me. Just a thought.

Oh and I think you can only scroll your phone book from the screen menu.

isn't there an unlock for the scroll while you drive feature?
