^^Line will show on dark colored cars.
I know I have clear bra on my IS. Plus $$$. Probably will just repaint the hood in the future. Might even be cheaper than clear bra.
Chips will show but scrapes fade away after a few days. I have an 09- it has the scratch paint thingy.

first mod - 5% tint, (I hate the sun)/ add Cobra Radar Detector
2nd - Converted fog lights to 6000k HID
3rd - Changed headlight bulbs to 6000k to match fog lights/changed front turn signal
bulbs to Dual Color Led Switchbacks
4th - Added resistors to turn signals to stop hyper flash
5th - Changed all interior bulbs and License Plate bulbs to super white Led bulbs

Next is the Clear Bra, been procrastinating but at 3k miles im already seeing damage from bugs. Will be adding the bra in the very near future.

i did the same thing: tint, then change fog light bulbs then interior/license plate leds, and then painted rear valence and grille.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I promise we have not been in business almost 25 years falsely claiming horsepower gains. Throttle response is only one parameter we tune. Hypertech offers a 30 day money back guarantee to anyone who buys our product new.

It's not $500... Check Streetside Auto, and Google for coupon codes.

As soon as you get a G, the first thing to Mod should be your girl. The girl sitting in the front seat of the G, gotta look as good as the G.

I had the clear bra put on first, then the windows tinted.
My next two mods cost about $20. Ordered a stealth cord for neatly hooking up the passport and got 2 rubber jackets for the smart keys.

I’m not surprised that although the title of this thread is “What was your 1st Mod?” it has turned into listing of ALL the mods a poster has. I guess pride in modding knows no bounds. Perhaps us stockers need our own thread: “What mods did you consider but decided against?” I’m sure each list would be very short.
