Interestingly enough, I've had the 2010 G for about 4 months now, and time has not permitted me to go through the owners manual thoroughly. The other day, I discovered that our cars could be set to remind drivers to take breaks - I believe this is a feature on the new E-class MB's. I thought it was pretty kewl. Now, I'm sure there' s a lot of things I don't know about the car (the small bits and pieces). Was hoping people could share small details that aren't noticeable, or have discovered.

By the way, does anyone have this issue: when you hold the unlock button, all of the windows roll down, minus the sunroof? I could've SWORN that when I first did it, the sunroof went with it (?). Anyways, thanks all!

I can do the same thing with my Altima and G35 remotes so that's not a new feature for Nissan/Infiniti cars.

 

never knew about the option to take a break then again that's probably just for the 6speed.

meh, i doubt it. it's on the tach, between pages. it's under uh...alerts, i think?

Most European cars and Australian cars have that feautre. If you've been driving for more than 3 hours it pops up an alert to take a break.

 

Yeah, the somewhat annoying safety thing is you can't roll them back up again with the lock key. I've accidently rolled them down before and have to go turn on the battery to roll them all back up again.

 

Or you can just simply pull out the valet key, insert it into the key slot on the door, turn right to lock and hold. That'll roll the windows back up, minus the sunroof. The same works by turning left to unlock and hold rolls down the windows.

TL had the same feature - except that also did sunroof unlock and lock.
