Are the seats in non-sport Journey lower than those in Sport? The sport driver's seat does sit pretty high even you set it to the lowest point.

Well I am going to most likely get the g37xs. Right now I am contemplating waiting a couple weeks to see if the incentives increase in August ahead of the 2011 being released. The $1000 lease incentive is good until Sept 30th anyway, so deals cant really get any worse. I guess the only risk is not being able to get the specific model I want if 2010 inventory dries up.

Not sure what color you are considering but I posted pics of my Graphite Shadow a few weeks back when I got it. You can click my name and look for my posts.
Edit: here's a link to the post

I too had a very hard time finding pics and descriptions of the differences between the Xs and non-sport so I took some pics of the differences. There are plenty of pics of the non-sport X model and I only have the Xs but if you are looking for that color the pics may help.

I agree about the seats being a bit tight in the front but otherwise love the sport differences. I always thought my 08 just had a bit of 'droopy' feel. Looked great but I wanted a bit more agressive look. The 2010 changes were great to correct that in my personal opinion.

I am very happy with my new buggy and the look, feel and options of the sport.

In regard to waiting for better deals - are you looking to buy or lease? If you are buying you are probably smart to wait a bit. If you are leasing I would strongly urge you to look at the numbers this month. If you can get a great deal on the price the money factor and residuals are really, REALLY favorable for July. Who knows what Aug will bring but compared to May I saved about $20-$30 leasing in June just because of a better money factor (interest rate) and it looks like the July improvement is going to be similar over June. If the money factor goes up, even if you save money on the car, it is likely your payment will go up so determine your own risk tolerance but I figured I would throw that out there for consideration.

Good luck - can't go wrong either way!!

Jay

I can't understand how people don't have enough room...I am 6'2", 210 lbs and have PLENTY of room...a good 2" above my head and fit into the seat just fine, I usually have the bolsters empty but if I'm driving really aggressively I inflate them and it holds me in the seat amazingly well.

I am looking to lease. I am thinking there may be some big incentives and that if they knock another 2000-3000k off to clear out 10s that might lead to better lease payments, though I guess I could be wrong.

I've have personally leased 3 cars and bought 16 over the years. IMO, if it all possible, buy (finance) your new G37. With Infiniti offereing 0% interest for 36 months, or 1.9% up to 66 months, I think you will do better in the long run with purchase vs. a lease.

Buying is not an option. Leasing gets me at about $495 with only first payment down. 0% at 60 months on a purchase is about $675. Plus we like to get new vehicles every 3-4 years or so so leasing makes more sense.

Why can't Infiniti give the sedan some love and design some decent looking rims. I hate my grandma looking rims on my g37s!

I just picked up a 2010 G37xS Sedan // Graphite Shadow // Sport Pkg (AWD version is different than FWD version) // Premium Pkg. // Navigation Pkg. //

I love the sort package for the more aggressive rims, aluminum pedals, paddle shiftes, improved fascia and lower front grille, etc.

I've modified alluminated kickplates & formula one tints 35% on sides 20% in the back it looks much more sporty.

My lease is $380/month and I only put down $3,500 with 15,000 miles. Got the $1,000 credit from Infiniti. Herb Chambers in MASS if your in the northeast. Retail price on the car was $42,230... loan payments would have been $600+ unless I put down like $20K.

I got the non-sport 18" wheels. This is what they look like.

I agree! I was surprised that I had a hard time finding a car with them to look at and when I purchased my car they had to travel over 100 miles away to get one with these wheels. They were very difficult to find.
