There's a huge difference between wanting one with as low miles as possible, and being hung up on it enough to not be willing to buy one with more than a couple of dozen. There are many and many people out there who get pretty pissed off when they see double digit miles on their new car. And IMO, those people just need to get over it.

Nothing like douchebag Infiniti sales/dealers I seriously don't understand why they treat people like crap and expect the world in return!

To the OP: I personally would have taken my business elsewhere. Remember, you're paying THEM, not the other way around. In this economy, they should be thankful you're even considering buying a car at all and jump at the chance to cooperate with you.

So I talked my sales rep. I will be getting my car on Friday. The F&I manager is the only F&I person for the whole dealership and she is off tomorrow. It is also my sales reps day off tomorrow but I know for fact that he wold come in for a an hour or so to pick up my car. He has given me nothing but the best service on his end. I will be working them over for a good amount of oil changes for the aggravation though...

Oh I am not saying it is a deal breaker, I'm just saying when looking for a car I would try to get one with the lowest miles possible.

why go through USAA.... Infiniti is currently 1.9% financing for 66 months... how much lower can USAA get you?

when I got my USAA loan I got 0.5%, but that was in May '09. In May of this year one of my friends said they were doing 1.25%

But the great thing about USAA is that even if you finance through someone else (ANYONE) 99% of dealerships will still take a big chunk of $$ off b/c they already have deals set up with USAA. It isn't dependent on financing, it's just a guaranteed deal.

I see 3.99% for 60 months offered now but pretty significant savings if this is the deal they can swing for members.. never personally used USAA but will next time for sure if the dealership honors their negotiated price!

yeah the great thing about the pre-negotiated price is you can still finance through whoever you want. you get the USAA pricing just b/c you are a USAA member

My Equifax scor was 735 and my TU score was 686. I had bought furniture for my apartment 6 months ago and got 0% financing for 12 months. that trade line was maxed out. I paid the furniture and all my other credit card debt off last month. for some reason Equifax (this is who USAA uses) updated all the accounts with 0 balances giving me a score of 735. Trans union (this is who Infiniti Finance Pulled) has updated all my credit cards to 0 balance except the card with the furniture witch is still reporting as maxed out thus giving me a score of 686 with Trans Union. also my Equifax shows a longer credit history. so the dealer said my score wasn't high enough to get the 1.9% for 66 months through IFS... Unfortunately I'm in a position where I need the car NOW and I cant wait until my credit reports update properly...

I am sorry, but this is one f***ed up dealership. So if there is only one F&I manager for the whole dealership, and she is off, sick or on vacation, then that dealership can't sell car if people wanna go thur F&I. But if you pay with check or cash, then they can sell you the car without her.

IMHO I want the car with the least amount of miles possible. Greatly reduces the chances it was flogged or some other abuse done to the car. I guess you can buy a suit and it was only worn once would that make you happy?

I would have told them to kiss my big old butt and went somewhere else. No if ands or butts! The mileage on the car is NO big deal. The dealer's actions are!

So I got my car this morning. I spent the afternoon driving my dad to a few Dr's appointments so I haven't gotten a chance to really give the car a good work out (gonna wait till the break in period is over before I do that) So the dealership gave me 12 months/4 free oil changes and tire rotations for all the aggravation so I guess it works out. So far I'm loving the car! Here's an Iphone pick of the car, I'll have to get my buddy to breat out his Nikon SLR for some better pics

Those wheels you have are staggered, which means you can't rotate the tires. I'll say it again - your dealer sucks.

That said, the car looks great, and I know you'll love it! Congrats.
