g25's are ordered! It'll probably be a 70% push into that since 80% of clients (non-forum members) don't care about having horsepower when it's either a train station car, or they dont go past 3k rpm anyways

Infiniti will now have a entry level luxury sedan. Not sure I would pick the G to fill that role if that was what I was wanting though.

The G is no lightweight, I can't imagine the dissapointment I'd feel having a 2.5liter pulling that weight around.
I've driven my stepmoms' Lexus IS 250 plenty of times and have also driven the IS 350 twice. The IS 350 is very simlar to the G35/37, very fun to drive and very performance oriented. The IS 250 I feel like I'm just driving a plush corolla, nothing to get excited about and always wishing it had some power to go along w/ the sporty look of the car.
I guess it would appeal to those that want the look but not the decreased fuel economy, or possibly some tuners that want to mod the hell out of it.
I'd just feel kinda sad pulling next to a G25 knowing how much they really want my G37

The G is no lightweight, but neither is the IS250, or the Audi A4 or many of the entry level luxury sedans.
Otherwise, don't be sad. Not everyone wants the type of power a G37 has, as Da Mayor put it, 80% of the customer base just wants a nice commuter vehicle. The g25 will fit that quite nicely and provide a number of luxury creature comforts.
