I visited my in-laws in PA over the 4th of July weekend and the first morning we were there, we've discovered this carving / scratchitti on the right rear door. It looks like someone took his/her time to make sure that the scratch is deep enough not to be fixed with buffing etc. I don't know how much the dealer would charge me to fix this s**t but I am scared to ask.

The dealer will bring it to a body shop anyway, why don't you go direct to a body shop?

 

I have no idea.I don't know anybody there. The only thing I can think of is that my car was the newest car in the area and the only Japanese one.
