It was easier just to remove it. lol
I also removed mine when I installed my ARK catback. No biggy watsoever.

I put them on when the car had 300 miles on it. lol With the stock exhaust, they were raspy. But now that's all gone after I put on the FI. It's awesome!

looks great op! i've been considering an exhaust setup, but i wasn't a fan of any of the tips (tanabe, stillen, etc.). the only set i was considering was the arks, but i didn't realize how large the tips were. i'm surprised by the fi system...i didn't even really notice it around! i think i just might have my mind set!

any bumps in performance? that piping doesn't look very large...lol

LOL It's 2.5"...

There's a definite improvement throughout the whole RPM range. It really feels like a whole different car now. It was quite a dramatic upgrade with the ERZ HFCs! The HFCs alone weren't all that dramatic, but this combination is GREAT!

Efuseakay, I just got my FI exhaust put on yesterday and all i can say is WOW!!! My buddy owns a shop over here in Pa called Dreamwerks Auto Performance and said that it was the easiest and best sounding exhaust that he has put on. It looks stock but a the same time it looks MEAN. The sound is freaking awesome!!! I am currently on the 2nd hot/cold cycle. How many miles should i wait before i open this bad girl up?

You should be good to go after one more cycle. I put on close to 100 miles before I took the vids. 100 miles in a day. lol

Glad you're enjoying it! Of all the cars/exhausts I've had, this combo is hands down my favorite!

Hey efuseakay, how far do your tips stick out? I'm getting some rattling under my car and a squeaking noise. I also noticed that your tips are centered in the cut outs on the back bumper. Mine are a little inward. Any ideas? Thanks in advance....

They don't really stick out... if you're looking straight down, just the outward edges of the tips poke out a bit.

My left tip is slightly off, but I'm ok with it. You just have to play around a bit... try loosening the clamps to the muffler sections so you can turn them a bit... it's also possible the exhaust hangers were bent during shipping. You could try bending those as well, to get a better alignment.

The rattling may be the cross-member "brace" under the car up by the first muffler. I removed mine completely.

Not sure about the squeaking. Make sure everything has clearance, and is tightened up good.

Good luck!
