I love being the first car in line at stoplights because it's an opportunity to get the engine wound up.

I didn't break any traffic laws and I wasn't even speeding, going well under the limit in fact.
How do these equate to you being in a hurry having something to do with the accident?

Car is stock atm. Engine still has a sweet sound at 6k+. I do want a little extra growl so I'm planning on putting in a 3rd Gen Stillen CAI.

I dunno, I've owned 3 max's (last was an '09) and I never really drove like an a$$ until I got behind the wheel of this car. It's fantastic.. What part of MD are you from?

Ah - nice! I bought my baby at JBA. I'm in Millersville. I'll be sure to post some vids on Youtube after it's installed.

Bless you. I love it when a "youngster" is nice.

LOL, when I say older, I mean Cadillac going 20mph below the speed limited old. Don't think you fall into that category. But just in case, after you

Fact... I was on 2-F'n-87 yesterday driving to another office and outa
nowhere comes an F'n rock on the windshield. Left a 1.5" star crack.
F'n dump truck spewing ****, about 1/4 mile ahead. I WAS PISSED...
So, to the point of this thread.

I buried the pedal and hit the left lane... Blew by that truck, only wishing the
G came equipped with side mounted rocket launchers to see it aflame in the RV.

I look down and I'm just below 130... People talk about 0-60, but
Still can't believe how really fast this car goes from 70-130.

Ouch - I know the feeling.. No more than 3 weeks after I bought my '09 Max I was on the way to work at 5 in the morning and this stupid *** dump truck got into the left lane for reasons only a person with a third or fourth personality might understand and proceeded to dump a good portion of his gravel onto the highway. Left an 8" crack on my windshield and a nice pattern of chip marks down my 1/4 panel. Now I avoid dump trucks like the plauge.. I have no problems driving like an 80 y/o grandma on the way to bingo to avoid another incident like that.

Exactly... Unfortunately, on the hwy, you're best off in front of those F'ers.

ha-ha, classic thread. I friggin love this car. I find myself scoping out who's nearby all the time at stoplights and backroads...just hoping someone wants to take on the grocery getter. Odd thing though, very rarely does anyone want a piece of me in my G. Especially those pesky Mustangs that I'm becoming very intimate with from the angle of my rearview mirror. Buh-bye suckazzz.

I would hate to drive a G without a radar detector. I don't know how any of you do it. Mine saves me from tickets all the time. Or maybe I should say, it allows me to drive more the way I want to without worrying as much about getting a ticket.

What kind do you have? Does it give you many false alarms?
